Jana Jansen

Jana Jansen was raised in the town of Lynden, Washington. She started a career in residential real estate in 1997 at Lake & Company Real Estate. Prior to real estate, Jana was a paralegal/legal assistant both in Bellingham and then in Seattle at private law firms and also with the in-house legal department at the Port of Seattle. During this time, she worked closely with attorneys who specialized in real estate law and transactions, unlawful detainer actions, foreclosures as well as insurance defense.

In between moves to New York City and then back to Seattle, raising a family and enjoying the great Pacific Northwest, Jana enjoyed selling residential real estate in the greater Seattle area. The switch to property management came as a gradual one and based on assisting various clients’ needs and finally in 2017, she joined the exceptional team at Maple Leaf Property Management.

While very much committed to the day to day duties of property management, Jana is more than thrilled to be a part of current Sales Team division within Maple Leaf and feels this extension of the company’s outstanding property management services is a full circle completion for both her and our clients alike. Jana also has extensive knowledge of the ins and outs of short term rentals.
