New Wallaroo at the Zoo

From blog at Woodland Park Zoo

Did you know there is a new Wallaroo at the zoo? His name is Yuri.

Some things I learned about Wallaroos:

  1. A group of Wallaroos is called a mob
  2. Wallaroo babies need to learn wallaroo behavior
  3. They learn to “box” by punching, and biting and kicking at their mothers and other adults and the adults let them.

Learn more about Yuri and how he is being raised and integrated into the mob by reading this blog post from the zoo.

We’re looking forward to a “field trip” to see Yuri. Have you been to the zoo lately?
